Jake started taking Karate and really loves it. It took him no time at all to earn his yellow belt. In this picture, his instructor is about ready to punch him in the stomach. He takes with his friend Carter which makes it even more fun. Tanner has had so much fun watching him that he started taking Karate too.
Kena LOVES to cheer and tumble. This is her third year cheering for FLASH ALLSTARS. She just recently was able to perfect her back tuck. She's on a great team this year that should do amazing at Nationals. Makena is making hair bows to earn her way to sewing. So far she has earned $170. She has worked hard all summer long. This is also the summer where Kena learned to sew. She gotten quite good and has made several fun items like a baby blanket, a skirt, a stuffed animal and a sewing bag. This year both boys played baseball. It was Tanner's first year in T-ball and Jake's second year in baseball. Both team did really well. Jake's team was much more intense with several practices a week. It was fun to watch them play. All three of the older kids also played soccer but I was a bit of a loser mom and didn't snap one picture of soccer.
