Ethan actually shares his birthday with his Aunt Heather. So we ended up going to dinner up in Salt Lake with the Newman's. It was a fun night and the kids did great at the restaurant.
But for fun on Ethan's birthday, we took the kids to a place called "Jump On It." It's a bunch of trampolines hooked together. Ethan LOVES to jump on the tramp so we went there and he jumped until he couldn't jump anymore. ( I did too and ended up throwing my back out. Man, it's hard to get old.)
I can't believe Ethan is two. Time has gone by so fast. He has a contagious smile that beams when ever I'm there to get him from his crib. Ethan hasn't taken to talking yet so we are working a lot on sign language. He know the signs for drink, eat, blankie, more, help, go, treat, milk, stop and few others. It's the cutest thing when you see him sign.
He has a love hate relationship with his brother Tanner. Sometimes Tanner wants to be the baby but Ethan holds his ground. They either love each other or are chasing each other around the house screaming. Ethan also loves both his grandpa's and grandma's. He'll choose to be with them any day. Ethan enjoys talking on the phone with them too. Unfortunately for grandma and grandpa the conversation is pretty one sided.
